Sometimes I get bored....

I make my living as a graphic designer. As a graphic designer I work on alot of different projects, some more interesting than other.

On those days where I'm working on a not-so-interesting project I get a little restless and fidgety. Every once in a while, I'll have a creative epiphany that I feel the need to act on when I take a break. A creative epiphany like, "Wouldn't it be cool if I made lightning come out of this dude's eyes and stick an alien behind him like it's telepathically controlling him?"

Monday, Evil Monday

Every day at work I make little lists for the following day which include tasks that need to be completed. It's a fun way to bring my art world into my every day job world. late friday evening I scribbled this one knowing in advance how hard Mondays usually hit sometimes...tired, grumpy. Mondays are eeeevil.

Anyhoo, it's days like this I need to recall to mind the things I'm thankful for: My wife, my children, my parents, my brother, my friends, my job, my coworkers, my house, drawing, my health, 1980s saturday morning cartoons.

Sola gratia. Sola fide. Sola Christus.

Poor Bobby Got His Butt Schilacked!

Well, a couple of weeks ago my character, Bobby got schilacked in the first round of the third consecutive FACA Fisticuffs tournament.

This was a good one though. Alot of people entered alot of great characters, full color, plus it was anonymous this time around.

Getting decimated in round one has never been so much fun: )

Page 13

Just finished inking page 13 last night. I'm getting a bit faster. I was able to ink the whole page in about an hour and 45 minutes. Stayed up way too late working on it again.

Man was it fun though!
