Murals, the Non-Painted Kind.

These were fun.

I finished these about a year and a half ago, but never posted images of the finals. These were originally done as small images (about 8.5 x 11.) They were scanned, vectorized and then colored in Adobe Illustrator. Then printed out in large format adhesive vinyl by a group called The Baldus Company.

Much more efficient and fun than if I tried to paint the suckers by hand directly onto the walls. That would have been horrible. Possibly a fate worse than death.

I've done this a couple times now and these are by far some of the most rewarding projects to work on. It's very cool to see your art real big and fat on a wall: )

Of Comic Book Conventions and Weirdos...

So I went to Motor City Comic Con a couple weeks ago with my friends Ben and Brent. All in all, a very good time. I must admit, my threshold for this sort of thing is much lesser than it used to be.

Here's some highlights though....
