Rats!

I was on a wonderful inking streak for my Parable 2 submission, when I hit page 4. I had alot of fun inking this page, but after a bit of thought realized that I need to change this and a couple following pages due to story flow and whatnot.

I always know I'm gonna need to do a page/illustration over when I hit the point of being unsure of when the piece is going to be done. I finagle with it a little here, a little there and then it dawns on me that the piece is second-guessing itself.

So, scrap this page, but it made for a decent post and I got some good practice.

St. Thomas Aquinas

Had to go back to the drawing board in the middle of an illustration project this week. Usually when this happens, I find my saturation level on the project is so high, that I need to take a break from it for a day or two.

So to get restarted, I usually draw a portrait of a swell, really smart dead guy like Augustine, or Aquinas.
