Awesomeness

Came across this image yesterday, and am completely enamored with it. No idea who did it, but looks like vintage sci-fi. The image itself is beautiful, but what really floors me is the tight composition and this crazy complimentary color pallet.

Action figure backing card done

Minus a few minor adjustments, I finished these backing cards, and am really pleased with how they turned out. Here's shots with and without the additional design elements. I had the opportunity to redesign the Creepy Classics logo too. FUN!

Finished him.

Wolverine: Pencils

Working on a charity auction piece, so I decided to do a well known character. I got it all pencilled, hopefully I won't screw up the inks.

Blister Card art

Not quite finished yet, but here's some art I'm doing for Cast-a-way Toys for a blister card design. This thing has kicked my butt, but I'm really liking it. Still quite a bit of tweaking to do. When I'm working on something like this, I get insanely immersed in it. Very difficult to put it down and come back to it.

All digital start to finish.

This is one of those instances where my file is literally almost 100 layers big, and I'm wrestling with how the image looks on screen vs. how it looks when I print it out. Hopefully have it done tonight though.

Wanted

I added some halftone and the words. I fidgeted around with color forever on this and hated what I saw. Pretty sure I'm keeping it in black and white.
